The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, your goals for therapy, and start building a sense of safety and trust. You don’t need to have it all figured out—I’ll guide you gently through the process.
Yes! I offer both in-person therapy in Jacksonville, North Carolina and virtual therapy for clients located anywhere in the state. Whether you prefer to meet face-to-face or from the comfort of home, we’ll find what works best for you.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful therapy that helps people heal from trauma, anxiety, and deeply rooted emotional patterns.
Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR doesn’t require you to talk in detail about painful memories. Instead, it helps your brain reprocess and release them, so they no longer feel triggering or stuck. Clients often say EMDR helped them experience faster, more lasting relief than anything else they’ve tried.
Yes! I’m in-network with Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS).
If you have a different provider, I can give you a superbill to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or just tired of carrying everything on your own—therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit. Many of my clients keep up with life, work, and responsibilities, but are exhausted from holding it all together. Therapy can offer you space to breathe, process, and reconnect with yourself.
I love working with women who are high-achieving, perfectionistic, and overly responsible—especially those navigating anxiety, PTSD, or complex trauma. I also welcome and work with clients of all genders, ages, and other varying identities. My approach is warm, trauma-informed, and designed to help you feel safe and supported as we do the deeper healing work.
That’s more common than you might think. If talk therapy didn’t get to the root of things, EMDR and somatic approaches may be the missing piece. My style is deeply relational, and I’ll meet you exactly where you are—without judgment or pressure.
Most clients begin with either bi-weekly or weekly sessions, especially in the early stages of therapy. As things begin to shift and stabilize, we can revisit what pace feels most helpful for you.
Yes! I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can see if we're a good fit. You can ask any questions, share a bit about what you're looking for, and get a feel for my approach.
I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to the full session fee.
