If you’re using one of these plans, I will submit claims directly on your behalf. However, I always recommend calling your insurance provider to confirm your mental health benefits before getting started, as coverage can vary by plan.
Out-of-Network Benefits
If you have a different insurance provider, you may still be able to receive partial reimbursement through out-of-network benefits. I can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) for you to submit to your insurance company to obtain reimbursement.
How to Check Your Out-of-Network Benefits
Call your insurance provider and ask:
- Do I have out-of-network coverage for mental health services?
- What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?
- Is there an out-of-network deductible I need to meet first?
