As a couple’s therapist, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach, that helps couples understand their emotional needs and break longstanding negative cycles. EFT is grounded in attachment science and helps couples understand the deeper emotions and needs underneath conflict. Studies show EFT has a 70-75% success rate in improving relationship distress and 90% of couples who complete EFT report improved emotional connection.
